[Discussion] "One Touch, Eleven Million Yen" (Shigeo, HORI)

Last year Knock Yokoyama was accused of his sexual harassment to a college student during his campaign time. Because of his insincere attitudes towards her, the case accelerated its seriousness with the helps of media and woman's groups. Eventually the court penalized Yokoyama paying eleven million yen.

In the USA, the president Bill Clinton was accused by Monica of his sexual harassment, but he still is a president. What is the difference between these two.

In a world of universities, the professors' scandals towards female students and accusations from the girls are not so common these days. Toru Yano, a famous international social scientist resigned from Kyoto University because of sexual harassment to a student. Associate professor of Tohoku University was penalized 7.5 million yen for his sexual harassment toward his student.

We witness very famous person lost his job and status for his sexual harassment. Eiichiro Suganuma, a brutal spokesman of News Station, was dismissed for his female problem. Mamoru Norisada, a top ranking superintendent public prosecutor was instantly dismissed for his female problems. Sosuke Uno was the same case too.

Nowadays the government orders schools and companies to make their own anti sexual harassment rules. In my workplace recently this was created. But I also felt a bit about the change of the original message. And where is the borderline? For example, do you think the below instances is a part of sexual harassment?

Seiko Noda, former Ministry Minister of Posts and Telecommunication, at the age of 38, was suggested by Hiromu Nonaka that she should marry and have a baby and contribute to the anti-decrease of birth rate.

Today I hope you to discuss this contemporary but delicate problem.
