* Carrying "My Bag" is getting popular.
Shopping bag recycling has been practiced for some time in supermarkets. Now department stores are catching up. Some department store chains are selling their own "Brand Shopping Bags" and they are getting popular.
By using "My Bag" in shopping, in stead of having their purchases wrapped and put into conventional paper bags, the customers can get "Stamp Points", the accumulation of which enables them to get special gifts from the stores.
Department stores think that showing concern about the environmental issues is also an effective marketing strategy, realizing that people are becoming more and more willing to pay for reserving the natural resources.
