[discussion] "Genetically modified food" (Yoshiyuki TAKAHASHI)

The technique of gene recombination has become popular and applied for variety of things, for example, bacterium, agricultural products.
Tonight, I'd like to discuss gene recombination for agricultural products.

The technique can make the products stronger against harmful insects or bad weather and increase the output. We can get them at lower price. On the other hand, some people wonder the safety of the products. The test of safety must take very long time. Which opinion do you agree? I have taken this article from the Asahi.

2. Do you feel fear of food containing genetically modified products?
3. Which foods do you buy , at high price without containing genetically modified products or at lower price with no such display(maybe containing such products)?
