[discussion] "A Woman Without A Man" (Junko AMANO)

The Japanese people often think "American men are really kind to women." Perhaps this idea comes from the western custom of "ladies first". But the relation between the sexes are really more complex. Some women today think the traditional "ladies first" idea comes from the misconception that "women, as the weaker sex, are helpless without men" and do not like to be "ladies" anymore. Perhaps, women need men, but it is vice versa. Men need women in the same sense, isn't it ?
