Rakugo is a comic story that is performed by sitting down one-man
and it has the history of over three hundred
years. The difference between
Rakugo and another comedies is that Rakugo needs a joke in the end of
the story. Most of Rakugo stories vividly are described daily life of
people in downtown of Edo, Meiji and Taisho era.
By the way, have you listened Rakugo before? Otherwise I recommend you
to listen Rakugo through the Internet in advance or to go to the
Pichiku-Yose and your mind can be brought back to a downtown atmosphere
in Japan's good old days with listening it.
