How do you explain Japan to foreign people

1. You are to be divided into several groups, each groups will have around 5 or 6 members

2. I prepared several topics on Japan which are likely to be asked by foreign people.
Topics include question and sample answer both in Japanese and English for your assistance.
Please choose topic within your group who choose which.

3. Please read the question and sample answer which you chose.
Take time and think your answer with modifing or adding your personal knowledge and/or
experiences on it. Then make a small presentation in front of other members in your group.
Please try to expand the topic and you will enjoy the conversation afterward.

4. Members other than personator ask question on it as if you are a foreign people. And presenter answer it.

5. After the presentation and Q&A, please relax and have casual conversation within your group regarding the topic.

6. Please repeat step 1 through 5.

9月は急に会場が変更になったりなど、皆さんにはご迷惑をおかけしました。
10月は特に行事がありませんが、11月第一週目は合宿です。
お寺での活動はありませんので、ご注意願います。

さて、よく猫派、犬派、なんて聞かれる事がありますが、皆さんは即答できますか？
私は迷わず「猫派！」と答えられます。

私は猫飼い歴14年ですが、どの猫も性格は様々でとても面白い生き物です。
今うちの家にも二匹いますが、全然タイプが違います。
片方はとっても甘え上手でかまってちゃんな女の子、片方はお間抜けだけど愛嬌ある見た目オッサンな女の子。
（後者は私に似てるとも言われますが‥）
どちらも私が帰るとお迎えに来てくれる、とっても可愛いニャンズです。

よく猫はなつかないなんて言いますが、犬以上に人になつく動物だと思います。
ひどい時は一日中私のそばから離れず、冬は猫たんぽとして能力を発揮してくれます。
これから寒くなる冬、傍らに猫はどうですか？

冬の足音が聞こえてくる季節ですが、体調を崩さずに、またお寺でお会いしましょう！
