Title: "Words relay game and Imitating game"

Description:

Make some teams.
Introduce yourself to your group members.

= First 30 minutes === Words relay game.
1,Form lines by team.
2,The first person of a line is supposed to read and memorize a sentence on a sheet.　
3,Tell the sentence to the next person and relay it to the end of the line.
4,The last person will write the sentence on paper and read it out.　
5,The faster you'll do correctly, the more points you'll get.　　

= Second 30 minutes === Imitating game.
1,For 5 minutes, think of what you're going to imitate in English.
2,In turn,imitate someone/something, and other members will guess it.
(PASS is allowed only 3 times)

For example your mother,your father,your teacher,your group member, BAKABON's father,Martin Luther King,Jr. and so on...

When you were a child, your friends mimicked your mother, your father and so on.
Now you mimic your close parson.
So you can do impressions of someone/something.
If someone mimic his/her mother, it's OK just to answer "YOUR MOTHER".

I will inform you all the practice on Feb. 12th.
Its topic is "the seven lucky dieties".

I am afraid to say that I guess most of you cannot name all of the4 seven lucky dieties.
I would like you to know, not only their names, but also who they are.
I will give you their introduction in Japanese, so please translate it into English.
We will make four or five groups to translate together. Please feel free to speak in
Japanese while talking together to translate. I think it is better to do this, especially for
beginners.
At the end of the practice, please present your translation of the sentences I choose
for each group.

Title : Social issues

Description:
I will prepare some materials about some social issues.
I want to you make some groups, and discuss about these topics.
Please pay attention to other member’s opinion and express your opinion.

目的は”話し方、パブリックスピーキング、コミュニケーション力全般の上達”
と銘打って、２分間スピーチを行います。

すすめ方として　まず６人程度のグループを作っていただきます。
まず役割として、進行役、タイムキーパー役を決めてください。
こちらより用意したスピーチ用のお題を進行役の方は進行役ご自身を含め
皆さんにお題を無作為に配ってください。　（ここまで５分で終えてください。）

お題を各自確認し、皆さんの前で発表する２分間スピーチの原稿を練って
ください。（約１５分で終えてください）

＜コメントの作成＞
その後グループ内で、一人ずつ２分間スピーチを行ってもらいます。
スピーチを聞く側の人は、紙をお渡ししますので、以下の２点について
コメントを記入して、スピーチされた方に渡してください。
①　スピーチでよかった点（美点凝視でお願いします。）
②　改善点（改善すればさらにスピーチが良くなる部分）

このアドバイスが、客観的に自分のスピーチを評価できます。

＜すすめ方＞

進行役は　発表順を決める。
　↓
　各自スピーチを行う。　
　（２分きっちりで終わるようにタイムキーパーの方は
　タイムマネジメントをしっかりとお願いします。）

　聴衆役の方は、スピーチについてのコメント用紙を記入
　スピーチを行った方に渡す。

　スピーチを行った方が感じた印象を皆さんに伝える。

　上記のサイクルを約６～８分で行ってください。

ポイントとして、２分間のスピーチ時間の中に、起承転結をしっかりと
入れ込むこと。また”落ち”も入れて見てください。

英語の上手い、下手ではなく、コミュニケーションの「ツール」として
英語を使い、雰囲気に臆せず自分の意見を堂々と発表してください。
