(2) Title : The average middle-aged Japanese men and women
Can you guess? Who is he?
*1. He works about forty hours a week!
*2. He does about thirty minutes of exercise a week.
*3. He has about eight good friends.
*4. He thinks he is a good driver!
*5. He weighs about eighty-two kg!
*6. He has one point eight children.
*7. He can cook about four kinds of meal.
*8. He owns about three TVs.
*9. He is married.
*10. He has twenty-two pairs of socks.
The answer is → He is the average middle-aged UK men.
Let’s image the average middle-aged (age from 40 to 59 age) Japanese men and women like these. (*1~*10)
And talk about them.
(3) Description
1. Make some groups. (17:35~17:45)
2. All of members think about the topic.
3. And write down ten ideas (for example, office hours, holiday, appearance, hobby, belongings and so on) of the average middle-aged Japanese men and women on the A4 sheet. (17:45~18:05)
4. Talk about them and choose the best ten ideas in your group.
After that, write them down on a large sheet. (18:05~18:30)
5. Each group gives a brief presentation. (18:30~18:40)
