Dear Kyoto NHK ESS members

This is the announcement of the practice on September 14th.

Genre：group talk
Topic：your recommendations in your hometown.

As for the coming season,it is good for sightseeing. Do you have a
favorite place to sight in your town? When your friends come from
other countries or prefectures, what do you recommend to them? Please
tell us about good places and good things in your hometown.

examples of subject are below.
1)where do you want them to visit for sightseeing?
2)what do you want them to eat or drink?
3)which crafts or products do you recommend for souvenir?
4)which event do you enjoy?
5)what kind of trial experience do you want to do?

This is the announcement of the practice on September 21th.

Genre : Card Game
Title : 1.My grandmother went to market
2.Who am I?

Description

Members use 5 category's card(animal,fish,fruit,vegitable,etc)
for these 2games.

My grandmother went to market 19:00-19:30
1.Make 5 or 6 people groups.
2.Put card on the table
3.1st player pick the top card,and if the card is 'Apple',
the player says
'My grandmother went to market and she bought apple.'
4.2nd player pick the next card,and if the card is 'Grape',
the player says
'My grandmother went to market and she bought apple and grape.'
5.If the player forgets the word or mistakes the turn,the person is disqualified
goes out from a game.
6.The winner gets 1point per 1game.
7.Final winner is the person who takes most points.

Who am I? 19:30 - 20:00
1.Make 5 or 6 people groups.
2.Assign 1 member as timekeeper
3.Put card on the table
4.1st player pick the top card without checking and held up it to the head.
and try to confirm through the questions to the other members.
5.Other members can answer only ' Yes' or 'No'.
6..Time limit is 3minutes.
(example)
Card is 'monkey'...
- Am I alive?
- Am I human?
- Am I living in sea?
7.The player is winner if confirm within the time limit,and get 1point.
8.Final winner is the person who takes most points.

1. Genre: Discussion

2. Topic: Topics will be announced at the temple.

Description
1. Please make 6 groups as usual.
2. I will prepare three questions for you to discuss.
The questions will be disclosed one by one in about every 20 minutes so that you can focus on one question at a time.
The questions will be difficult, easy and moderate one respectively.
For each question, discuss it and try to draw a conclusion in your group.
3. When you finished the third question, choose someone in your group for a presentation.
4. The presenter will present the conclusion or anything you have discussed in the group.
