Dear, everyone.

Today’s topic is the pet problems in an apartment house.
Do you have dogs or cats? Do you love them so much?

Title: Pet problems (We divide our members into 6 groups)
Nowadays some elderly people keep dogs or cats. I think they are very pretty animals for their owners. But they sometimes make many troubles with their neighbors.

For example
① When they feel loneliness, they bark in daytimes or nights.
② Big size dogs sometimes threaten young kids.
③ In an apartment condominium, some owners keep their dogs or cats.(illegally)
④ Some owners leave dog’s oops outside of their rooms.
⑤ Some of the residents detests cats and dogs.
⑥ An very old man keeps a large-size young dog, even though his physical condition is serious by his age. After his death, nobody would be able to keep it.

When I had been in an apartment house, we argued about the pet problems at the residents’ meeting. Keeping dogs and cats were prohibited there.

Even now, estimated more than 30% of the residents keep dogs or cats illegally.
Some residents annoyed that a large number of the residents keep them.
Under such situations, nobody can say that keeping pets are illegal, but I said that.

Discussions
1.Do you have any good ideas about the apartment-condominium pet problems?
2.Pets lovers cannot easily release their lovely pets. Even though, if you were living in a volcanic island like Miyake-jima or Kuchinoerabu-jima., you would have to leave your pets.

Ending (3 minutes each)
3. Representative of each group talk about your lovely memories with your pets.
